FROM ANGKOR 7TH DAYS RITE TO HONOUR DR. SOVAN TUN

It is with great sadness that the Sacred Dancers of Angkor learnt of the passing of Dr Sovan Tun last Saturday and from the heart of Angkor in our Conservatoire of Dance and Music we dedicated the seventh day remembrance in our spiritual dance ritual on the 108 chants of the Mantra “Om Namo Narayanaya” marking the age of Dr Sovan with 81 lotus flowers under 81 blessed banian leaves from Banteay Srei Pagoda, in the Buong Suong Thom, Buong Suong Preah Thong followed by the Buong Suong Yakorn that we used to dedicate daily in Watt Buddhistkaram joined then by the many gentle worshippers who spoiled us making our Pchhum Ben 2013 visit memorable. You will always be in our hearts and memories. RIP
